Traditional Chinese Medicine · Penticton, BC

Your body knows how to heal. We help it remember.

Dr. Glenn Morezewich, D.T.C.M., R.T.C.M.H., R.Ac.

It is important to acknowledge that you and your body are essential to any recovery. Every treatment — acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapy, movement therapy — works by stimulating your body's own natural and innate healing process.

Treatments

A complete system of medicine, tailored to you

Treatments are determined after your situation has been reviewed and all the facts are considered. Dr. Morezewich will then discuss which options may be best for you.

Acupuncture & Acupressure

Fine, sterilized, disposable needles stimulate and balance the body's energy to restore or enhance normal functioning.

Herbal Medicine

Pharmacologically active plants and minerals with a long clinical history, prescribed to aid the body's own ability to correct dysfunction.

Dietary & Nutritional Therapy

Food cures and nutritional counselling — a proper diet is one of the foundations for keeping the body in balance.

Qi Gong & Physical Training

Energy work, rehabilitative exercise, and movement therapy to build strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Within minutes of my treatment my range of motion had improved and the pain had diminished. A day after my first treatment I felt remarkably better. By the time my second treatment was over, my life was returning to normal.

Why Traditional Chinese Medicine

Four thousand years of practice, focused on the cause

Traditional Chinese Medicine views the human body as an integral whole. Health is a state of balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit — and imbalance, whether from internal, external, emotional or psychological factors, is the root of dysfunction, illness, or disease.

Rather than treating symptoms alone, TCM first diagnoses the problem and then focuses on the underlying cause. A Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine is trained to recognize the initial stage of disease, often long before the patient is aware of the underlying condition.

Works with Western medicine

A companion, not a replacement

Diet, exercise, herbal medicine, massage, and acupuncture are all possible companions to Western medicine. These treatments can be used alongside drug therapy, or they can help eliminate dependence on medications.

Each individual's situation is different and is treated as such. Dr. Morezewich is also able to accept challenging referrals from other practitioners.
